1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Personal Information: name, email address, phone number, billing address, and payment details (collected and processed by our payment partners).
• Account & Usage Data: courses enrolled, lessons completed, quiz attempts, time spent on the platform, and progress.
• Device & Technical Data: IP address, approximate location (city and country) derived from the IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and access timestamps. We use these to keep your account secure and to enforce the device limit on each account.
• Cookies & Tracking Technologies: small text files that help us remember you, secure your session and improve the platform.

The FutureCAPrep mobile app

The app uses the same account as the website. When you use it:

• You sign in with your email address and password. Your password is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is never stored on your device.
• The app stores sign-in tokens in your device's encrypted secure storage, and caches your basic profile so the app opens quickly.
• The app sends your study activity (lessons completed, practice answers, mock test attempts and scores) to our servers to save your progress and show your analytics and leaderboard position.
• The app records the device type (for example “Android”) and IP address of each sign-in so you can see and sign out your devices.
• The app does not contain advertising, does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
• The app does not sell anything or take payments. Purchases are made on futurecaprep.com.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, maintain and improve our educational platform.
• To process transactions, deliver purchased courses and send confirmations/receipts.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• To send updates about your courses, security notices and (with your consent) marketing communications.
• To detect, prevent and address fraud, security incidents and abuse.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, payment gateways, email delivery) under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• Legal authorities where disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order or to protect our legal rights and the safety of users.

4. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legitimate retention obligations).
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

5. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You can delete your account at any time in the mobile app (Profile → Delete account), in Settings on the website, or by email. Full steps, and what is deleted and kept, are on our Delete Your Account page.

When you delete your account we permanently delete your profile, sessions, course access, progress, test attempts and certificates. Order and payment records are kept for up to 6 years to meet tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations, detached from your account, and then deleted. While your account is active, we keep your data for as long as the account exists.

6. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences and analytics. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the platform.

8. Children's Privacy

Our platform is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
